Misleading And False Advertising
The thread count is accurate, as far as industry standards go, but the insertion of the word "Egyptian" is extremely misleading if not downright false advertising. Simply look at the label, which requries full disclosure, and you will immediately realize that the material used, however "soft" and "sheer" the feel, is NOT Egyptian cotton at all. It is a mixed yarn, mostly non-natural fabric materials.
Here are two basic guidelines:
a) The label MUST explicitly state 100% Egyptian cotton. No ifs, buts, and maybes.
b) Thread count ONLY really matters if the material used is superior in the first place. No two (or three) ways about it.
I do not mean to denigrate polyester and other non-natural materials, but they are CHEAP and will not last. Just watch how quickly those corners and ends become threadbare in a relatively short period of time. You get what you pay for
These sheets are the poorest quality that I have ever seen that boast being 1200 thread count Egyptian cotten sheets. I can literallyI see thru them like sheets that are threadbare. I should have paid the extra money and gotten sheets of quality. I bought another set for almost 60 dollars that were so, so worth the price. Never again will I try to save a little money and think I will get quality merchandise. You get what you pay for...

These sheets are very thin, flat and dull looking. They are "see through" when you hold them up and are not luxerious feeling at all. I have sheets that are a lower thread count but a MUCH better quality. The fitted sheet is also a poor cut/fit and the corners "poke" out. Low quality set overall.
