THE BEST, just like the description says!
First a bit about history:
I have used Sunbeam electric blankets for years. They last 1-3 or so years but get flakey pretty fast: sometimes they don't work then work again; or they get hot spots; and when you wash then they get pilled and ugly. What a waste of money.
This "Perfect Fit" Soft Heat Luxury blanket is FANTASTIC!
It is DC, not AC like the Sunbeam. There is a DC converter as part of each controller. Although there was a question of danger of harmful rays from AC electric blankets, this supposedly is NOT the case with this type of DC blanket. The 25 volts (as opposed to 110 for AC) is also a whole lot SAFER re: electric shock.
This blanket is soooo soft and luxurious. The wide wale feels like it should not even have a sheet under it...you want to cuddle into it. :) You can put a top sheet over it, unlike the older styles where nothing was allowed on top (as in my cat who knows the value of a warm spot to snooze)

Worked well then stopped working
I really liked this blanket. It is very comfortable and warm. However one side has stopped working. I have left 5 messages at the customer support and no one calls me back. You cant speak to a live person. It is supposed to be a 5 year warranty but if you can't reach the warranty support it isn't very good.

Very nice warming blanket
This warming blanket is really nice. You cannot feel the wires in it and it is plush. I like the separate electrical connections from the blanket. I have always had Sunbeam blankets in the past only because that has been the only choice. The Sunbeam comes with one electrical connection at the bottom of the blanket. This is a problem because when the blanket is first put on the bed you will have to turn on one of the controls to see which side of the bed is being heated. If it is the wrong side, you have to flip the controls. This Micro-Fleece blanket has the two separate connections at the bottom leading to separate controls. This engineering resolves that issue of guessing which side of the bed is going to heat up from the controls.
